Default quick question

Well I've been flying a coxial now for about 5 months and am ready to to go to a ccpm heli. Here's my question.... I have been reading that heils with seperate tail motors burn out quickly. Is a belt or shaft driven tail rotor better than an individual tail motor heli???

Any input would be awesome!!!
Thanks

Yes they do and yes they are. Belts are cheaper, simpler and more common in smaller helis.

If you have the money. I would go with the 2007 V2. That helicopter is about perfect for a helicopter that size.

I second the T-Rex SE V2.

I also recommend getting a simulator to help with the sizable leap from a Co-Ax to a CP heli.

Vince

p.s. I see that you are about 2 hours away from me. If you want to see several different versions of the T-Rex, consider a road trip up.

Wow, small world. I was looking into getting a TRex 450 as well in the Canal Winchester area. Which shop do you use in the area? (vmiller) I'm new to RC Helicopters and need to get all the tools and such along with the heli. I was looking online to get it, but if I can get it local for a reasonable price, I will go that route.

I think you should get the Falcon 3D. It is also shaft driven and it comes ready to fly for $300. You can get it at Hobby Lobby, here is the link to it: http://hobby-lobby.com/falcon.htm
