I have a Raptor 30 v1 and a Futaba 8U TX, Hitec 645 servos and a Futaba 401 gyro. I need help programming the transmitter for this combination. I was wondering if anyone would have the set up sheet filled in on page 96 of the 8U manual? I know this is a long shot but the sheet I'm talking about has everything needed to program the transmitter. The manual comes with a set up sheet, with all of the values blank, for you to fill in after set up for reference. I have been struggling with the 8U & Raptor manuals for quite a long time unsuccessfully and I'm just about ready to give up.

everyone's setup varies. you have to decide whether you want to hover at midstick or 3/4 stick, how much cyclic throw you're comfortable with, what head speed you'll be running, how much tail authority you want, etc. my 8uhp settings would probably be nowhere near what you'd be happy with. if you can't figure out how to program your tx from the manual, it would be best to find someone in your area who can walk you through it.

Buy Rays Authoritative Heli Manual. It will walk you through how to set up the heli and radio. Also get Don Edbergs 'Getting the most out of Futabas 8-channel radio contol systems'. With both of these books I set up my heli and after having an expert look it over and test fly it I only have a few things to tweek.
