Default futuba transmitter

about to purchase a futuba 6EXH TRANSMITTER but i need to know if it has a left hand throttle many thanks

You can buy them in two flavors, Mode 1 which has the throttle on the right and is common overseas, or Mode 2 which is throttle on the left and is common to North America. Make sure its Mode 2 and your "In like Flinn". If your buying this thru a retail vendor here in the States, it should be no question that it'll be Mode 2, If your buying from overseas, make sure they'll only ship you a Mode 2 radio.

I was just curious, which mode do most people prefer? Is mode 2 what most people use????

mode 2 is almost universally used in north america.
