Default Difference between CP and CP+

Hey guys,

I have been flying a CX2 for a while and have gotten pretty good at it. I was looking to upgrade a little. A friend of mine has a CP that is a couple of years old. He got it, but could never master it. It has a couple of broken parts, but for the most part is good.

My question is, can I get upgrade parts for a CP+ and put them in the CP? What is the differences between them? I did notice that the batteries are different, and that the radio is an all-in-one as opposed to the micro receiver and the 3-in-1 control unit/ mixer.

I need to get new batteries and a new charger, some new blades and also a main shaft and drive gear. Will this stuff all work with the old parts?

Any help would be really appreciated!
