align gyro
l have a align head locking gyro and was wondering if it is safe to use on a 30 size nitro helicopter (rapter 30)

The align gyro was strange to set-up for me. Crashed my MiniTitan with one switched to a gy401 as the Align was an experiment anyway. With the GY401 I was set-up on the first flight. I have the Align gyro on my Axe Cp conversion and I have cycled 10 batteries setting the gyro up through experiment. Many crashes! If it were not for the weight difference and trying to keep the Axe CP light weight I would throw a gy401 on it.
So to give my opinion. I wouldn't use the Align gyro on a 30 size if you are a newbee. It is tougher to set-up and an out of control 30 size heli is very dangerous! Get an gy401. There is only 60-70$ difference and that is less than one crash repair.
