Default New to nitro...

Hi folks,

I was just recently given an RTF Raven 50. I am going to my LHS in a few days to pick up some new servos for it, but thought that I would need to pick up some tools etc as well. The question is: given the fact that I have the heli, radio, field gear, what else do I need to fly and maintain my heli?

I'm sorry if the question seems broad but any help would be appreciated!

Gyro and good gyro servo. pitch guage, Starter shaft, glow extension, Heli plugs such as OS#8. Heli fuel. good set of mectric socket drivers and allen drivers. If you are new to helis you need to get with someone to help you and I also recommend a simulator to learn on.

Add to the list, charger for the battery (if you didn't get one), grease and oils, extra fuel tubing (which you should inspect and replace if the heli hasn't run in a while), after run oil... etc.

I think you need to expand on the amount of field gear your have. There are several things specific to heli's that you will need.
