Mark,
If you want an electric beginner heli, get the corona. If you ever break it, the parts are very cheap. The Eco 8 is not much more stable, and will break at the drop of a hat. I don't care what you choose between gas and electric, but don't try to start with the Eco 8. I tried it, bad mistake. sold it fast. By the way, keep asking questions as some of these guys still remember what it was like to just be getting into the sport. There are a lot of questions, so don't be afraid to ask, and reask... However, I don't think anybody will give you the answer you want about the Eco. If you have any more questions feel free to email me @ [email protected], I'll give you straight forward answers as I have done a lot of research.
