I have a e-flight cx2 and a couple of times it didn't bind up after connecting the battery. I'd have to wait a half hour before it did

Check the batteries in the transmitter.

My CX2 does that sometimes, I disconnect it and reconnect it then it works ok. I only give it about six flashes of the light and if it doesn't bind I disconnect it and connect it right back and it has always worked.
