blackhawk 450 2.4g tx help please!!
the manual doesn't tell me what the two switches on the top are. Can someone help me please? Idle up on left? Which way is off. Two knobs on top should be centered? Thanks.

thats prolly for blade pitch (left knob), and pitch limit.
id say try the trim at 1:00 and the limit at 2 or 3:00
depends how the hesd is set up, but it should hover between 12:00 and 1:00 (pitch knob-left) you wanna have this right so the motor isnt bogging. and you have sufficient headspeed.

I don't know about that particular radio and my radios are opposite, one is up and the other is down.
However, your ESC should not arm if the idle up is turned on.

on most radios the switch away from you is off. the top right switch is probably a trainer switch. the knobs are probably hover pitch and pitch trim.

I have a BH450SE 2.4. THe toggle switch on top left controls power to motor (forward is off - rearward allows power). Toggle swith on right is idle up - forward is idle up, rearward normal. Dial on left is gyro sensitivity, left turn increases sensitivity. Dial on right adjusts pitch, right turn increases pitch. Recommend checking with Mike at KA-PLANES. Be careful, that is not a toy. I have the scars to prove it. Good luck.

Now that I was rereading my reply, I notice your address. My tx is a U.S. mode (throttle on left). If your tx is the same mode, then my instructions apply. A tip: tape the idle up switch so you do not accidentally hit it. Mike at KA-PLANES is the expert on BH.

most RTF stock transmitters have a trainer switch but the BH may have a throttle hold switch instead (most computer radios have both).
