Best beginner Heli for $200?
I want to get into helis os I am looking for a RTF heli for around $200.
I will have a sim so I wont be completely new.
What would you get if you were a beginner and had $200?

200 is a little weak.... i have a falcon 3d id part with though. i havnt really decided what to do with it, i have 2 CNC heads, and the original for it, 3 lipo's, charger, enough parts to build another one, and cpd-4......me thinks ill part it out.

I'm also new to helis and I ended up getting an Esky Belt CP. I originally had my mind set on an Esky Honey Bee King 2,but opted to spend an extra $60 simply for a tiny bit bigger size, plus you WILL have to buy a brushless motor for the honey bee because the stock motor only lasts a few flights usually. So,its gonna cost you about $60 more anyway,so I'd recommend just getting a CP that comes with a brushless motor. I dont know too much yet about helis, but I do know that about everyone I've talked to says either of these esky helos are amazing for the money. My trainer who has several helis bought the honey bee king 2 just to mess with and see if it was worth it and I bought the CP,and even he cant believe how nice they both are. Its hard to believe you get all that stuff for $130 for the honey bee,or even the $190 for the CP. My instructor did have to replace the motor and esc on his honey bee right away, but who cares because even after replacing the motor and esc for a better one its still a steal.
I looked around a good bit before buying a heli, but I honestly didnt find anything that compared to these 2 helis for the money. The Honey Bee is the better value of the 2 for only $130(but expect to replace the motor and esc). About the only difference that a new guy like us would notice between the 2 is that the CP is a tiny bit larger. But for $60 more you can have a tiny bit larger heli that is still WAAAAY cheaper then about any other heli in the CP.
And the parts are easy to find and are cheap, plus their both really upgradable. You can almost garantee that if you showed either of these helis to someone who didnt know how much it costed, they'd think you paid $400 easy with all thier features.

Check out this link
This is a good price for the E Flight Blasde CX2. It has been the top micro heli in its class for the last 2 years.
I started with one and had a great time flying.
