Default battery problem

one of the balance plug wire came loose where it goes in the battery. is their a way to fix it being so close to the battery cells? also if not is it okay to still just charge it without the balance plug? i know it won't last as long, but if i can't fix the plug then i still like to use the battery as long as i can anyways instead of letting it go to waste

Yes its possible to fix the battery balance leads on the battery. .I have had to do this a few times already.. If your soldering skills and soldering iron are up to the task.. you have to carefully open up the battery, just at the top where the leads are.. once open you will see where the wire broke off from the battery tab.. using a hot soldering iron tin the old wire and reattach.. One word of caution however.. don't short out the battery and please wear safety glasses when doing this.. these batteries are capable of serious injury and fire if shorted out.. If you are the least amount uncomfortable about doing this, you can charge the battery thru the discharge lead, but you may have issues down the road... Once finished with the battery, use strapping (filament) tape to finish the battery..
On a side not.. if your leads are breaking, you have to address the issue as to why.. do you have excessive vibration in the heli or are the wires undergoing some kind of strain on the heli? they don't just fall off.. mine was from a slight vibration that I thought wasn't a big deal until I started having battery and motor connection problems..

well soldering everyday at my job i went on and did it, charged fine and made it threw flight fine. i dunno how it came off, i know theirs prob some vibration, but i'm sure unless u know 100 percent how to get it out that most copters out their have some vibration. but i don't see it shaking or vibrating while flying. now i do see some while spooling up, but i just assume this is normal since it goes away after reaching full speed. if more wires start breaking on other things than this battery then i will start assuming somethings wrong. but i'm very glad u said something because that never crossed my mind and now as i said if it starts happening some more i will know where to start looking.
