[:-] What dose adding more waight to your flybar do for you ?

It slows down the cyclic response. I tried weights on my T-Rex and it seemed too mushy for me but I can see where it might help with a beginners tendency to overcontrol.

You can also try increasing the pitch of the flybar paddles to 3 or 5 degrees positive. This tames the heli and helped me learn to hover quickly.

I would not do that. The flybar should be set level to the swashplate. Softer edge, heavier paddles, shorter flybar and weights will slow down the cyclic and add a little scale to the cyclic.
