I have a blade 400 with the long range spektrum 6 channel radio and i just got a raven 50 heli kit with an os hyper. I just found out about a reciever that spektrum makes..the ar 7100r7. Reciever/regulator/ rev limiter. MY QUESTION. Will this reciever work in this heli with this transmitter and provide enough channels to use the rev limiter? Can i use a 7.2 lipo battery? Or should i just get a Futaba 10c with a governor.

You need to have 7 channels to use the 7100R revlimiter. You can use a lipo with that reciever as it has a built in voltage regulator.

Thats what i thought. I was hoping i could use the 6 channel and save some money. I want a 10c anyway...thanks
