I'm new to RC Helicopters. I have been flying the blade MCX and a CX2 for a few weeks and just baught a Blade 400 3D to "graduate" to for outdoors in the summer.
I have just started to practice with the Clearview RC simulator. I am finding the CP Pro in the simulator to be a lot easier than the 400 3D, but I was told by a few sources that the 400 is actually easier to fly due to the extra mass and the belt-driven tail rotor. So which is actually easier to fly in real life? I know Clearview is a relatively cheap simulator, but how realistic is it? Should I not attempt to fly the 400 3D until I can fly it in the simulator?
Thanks

Chris I have the same simulator and they do help you a lot, use the 400 indors for a while, there is a Fury heli will help you 2, but my best advice before grad outdoors ii to learn more about real fligths, here is a place that will help u a lot, radd scholl of rotary fligt , goggle it and read the steps, will help you become a master sooner,
hope it helps

the blade 400 if set up right is alot better than the cp
the blade 400 or cp will not be easier in real life than it is on a simmulator
the simm`s are good for stick control`s but if you have a good indoor 4 channel it will do the same but faster
when you get to the point that your ready to fly the 400 check out sokals youtube video`s
then after you get the 400 set up right you`ll love flying that heli
