just got the heli and wondering when I can get it in the air. I tried flying it indoors, yet my house is to small for this. When I flew outdoors, It couldnt even get off the ground!
There is no wind, nice a cool day and once the engine starts up a bit, it starts shifting to the left alittle. I tried to counter ballance callibrator, but it still shifts to the left. Remember the switch is all the way to the right.
Another thing, when I rev the heli up, the tail blades start to shift upward. Is there anyway to prevent this? The Heli is about 250 grams so I dont want to weight it down with some heavy material.
This is the that I really need some pointers here. Feel free to email me at: [email protected] if you do not wish to post it.
Thankyou,
Richard

From: Darwen,
So you are loosing control before you can get it of the ground....
This is where practice comes to mind. I felt the same with mine at first.
Try RADD'S SCHOOL OF ROTARY FLIGHT
In the left menu at the bottom you will see FLYING and Learn to Hover... Read through it. He gives great lessons for beginners and is well worth a look. What I liked about his way was learning to control the heli before it even leaves the ground.... a definite plus when it comes to saving some $$$ for unwanted repairs
I would suggest trying some of his lessons to see if it helps. If the heli still goes out of control after following his instructions then its possible that you may need to alter some settings on the hummingboard....
As for the tail moving up... this could be that the heli is trying to move forwards and starts to tilt when you apply throttle...

I found his teachings annoying. He didnt get to the point on most things. His little "story" here could have been cut in half if he stoped with the freekin "Punish yourself". The site encouraged me more to just troubleshoot as I fly.
