Hello all,
Had three great flight s with a Big Lama and no problems. Getting ready for fourth flight, always check that throttle is down and transmitter on. When I connected battery, instantly felt the battery wires get hot and the heli went on full throttle. Did I do anything wrong? Went over all the starting procedures and thought I did everything correct. I did try again to hook everything up with a buddy holding the heli just in case the same thing happened but there is no response now.....
Please reply with what I should check or replace. Thank you
Jeff

Did you smell anything burning? You might have cooked the esc. Unplus the motors, plug in battery and see if the servos will respond.

Druss,
I did not smell anything but those wires did get hot real fast. I did disconnect the motors and connect the battery and did not gt any response from the servo's.

Great learning experience about safety. I did catch some rash on my legs but can only think that if I was holding that heli any different, it could of caught me in the face etc.
Safety and procedure is so important !
Still looking for any replies on parts to buy.
Thanks
Jeff
