I just got a EC-135 for Christmas from banana hobby. I charged the battery, turned on the transmitter first then put in the battery waited til the blinking light quit. Nothing. I can get the right joystick to move the lower blade but it will not spool up. I have never had an RC other than really small simple stuff. I have a lot of questions and would love to chat with someone.
1. What is the second wire from the battery pod for?
2.There was a little bag with an allen wrench and some kind of wire thingy that looks like a jumper wire. What is that for.
3. The remote works with the flight sim program
4. The operating manual was not helpful, hence why I am here.

I hope someone has time to help me with this thanks. Jerry

back up and start over, but before you plug in the battery, make sure the trim for the throttle (on the tx) is all the way down or at least below the halfway mark. it will be the verticle trim lever beside the left stick.......................td...

well, I did that and it scared the hell out of me when it started up. Thanks I have been playing with the flight simulator and to say it is touchy is an understatement. Is flying the real thing easier than the sim? Thanks again, I cannot try to get it airborne as my boys are asleep and I do not want to wake them. Hope to be able to chat with you more...Jerry

The simulator is easier then the real thing. From experince make sure you have plenty of room for your 1st test flight, I flew mine in my small garage and crashed and burned a few times. Then took it to my warehouse and wasmuch more enjoyable flight anddid not crash. They are easy to learn as long as you have some room for error to get used to how it controls. Try keeping the helicopter lik 1 foot off the ground at 1st to trim it and get used tothe controls. Just remember when starting rc helicopters always have the throttle all the way down on transmitter, then power the transmitter, and finally plug the battery in the helicopter and let it sinc to the tansmitter. When you are done flying leave the transmitter on and remove the battery from the helicopter 1st then turn off transmitter never leave the battery hooked up in your heli.

I was actually looking to purchase from Banan hobby but was discouraged by alot of the negative reviews i seen on consumer reports. How was your experience dealing with Banana Hobby? Which ec-135 did you purchase from them the smaller 19 inch one or the larger 27 inch one?

I got the red rescue heli that is 19 inches. They have been great fast delivery and lots of online support with videos and stuff. Thanks for the info, I got it running and was trying to hover it in the kitchen and yeah tipped over and damaged the roof canopy. Figure I will not replace anything until I learn better. How hard is it to change out stuff like the body? I have a set of training skids coming. Thanks Jerry
