Default Controller for MCX and MSR?

Hi guys,

I'm gonna purchase a eflite mcx and msr tomorrow off a guy from craiglist. There is only one controller. Do you know if the mcx and the msr use the same type of controller? That mean I can bind and fly both of them with the same controller right?

Also, do you think $150 is good price for both mcx and msr with 1 controller and 9 battery packs?

Thanks for the input guys.

If they are in good shape, then yes, $150 seems pretty good. And yes, they use the same controller. Enjoy!

thank you for your input. I decided to make the purchase. I tried flying the mcx in my living room and it was pretty cool. I could fly it in circle and slowly make the 8. However, I think I need to adjust the trim a bit or something since it doesn't seem to hover in one spot. As far as batteries, the guy gave me Tenergy Lipo Batteries 3.7v 130mah, but the batteries are a bit fat and can't fit in the mcx or msr. Anyone ever used these batteries? They seems like they would fit if you cut off or trim the flaps on the side. Did anyone ever get those Tenergy batteries to fit in their mcx/msr?

Push the 'flaps' on the sides of the batteries as flat as you can get them, they'll fit.
