Default NO SIM FOR MAC??????

im new to the hobby...a lot of you might tell for the ridiculous posts ive been posting the last couple of days.....anyway on to the topic....ive never flown anything in my life, but i recently bought a thunder tiger raptor 50 titan se, and im about to "go in"....ive been reading all the topics and advice everyone is giving and most if not all say you need a sim....well a few months ago i went out and spent 2500 on a new mac computer....im looking all over the net for a sim to buy, and none of them support macs....i did some research and all i could find is some low budget sim for download, which looks horrible....i know macs can run windows software with the help of another program but that costs more $$$ in which at this moment i dont have!!! is there any other solution out t there for me? and for the record why dont these sims support mac cpu's????

Its not the CPU, intel makes mac CPUs these days. Its the operating system. Mac isnt know for their entertainment/gaming software despite what they want you to believe...

So might wana look into a windows emulator...

I'm new to RC and also only have a Mac, so I feel your frustration. Everything I read say if you want to learn to fly a heli you are best to get a simulator and practice there first before buying a heli.

Well even though I don't really have the cash I bit the bullet and installed Windows 7 on my Mac. Cost about $65 for a new drive, even though I could have partitioned one of the two drives in my machine saving the $65, then $199 for a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium. Now I need to spend another $200 or more on a decent simulator. This is turning out to be an expensive new hobby.

wow, for $2500, you could have had a killer pc, great display, a sim, and money left over for a heli

Seems like everything is built around the PC platform. If MAC was ever gonna dominate it would have done so by now. Get a PC, it plugs into the world.
