Servos For a T-Rex 600 ?
I just finished building a T-Rex 600esp. Since I'm new to the heli sport I will be learning to fly on this heli. I am looking for inexspensive digital servos with decent torqueto get started with to hover and make basic movements. I will upgrade them when I am able to start 3D flight. I was looking at hobbyking and other sites with decent prices. I would appreciate any suggustions on which servos would be best without getting cheap ones. let me know. Thanks

You would be better off and cheaper in the long run to get some premium servos (not at hobby King) such as JR and Futaba or Hitec something aroung 85-100 oz of torque. Buy servos ONCE. Sorry, a really nice heli to trash it up with substandard electronics.
Shelf the ESP till you can afford better stuff for it. Trust me on this!

i dont think the spektrum brand servo`s are a very good choice. in my experience spektrum servo`s are very crappy.
look into the futaba 8717`s or other good brand servo`s in the futaba spec range.
i think people use the futaba 9650`s, 9256`s, etc..........
try finding servo`s in this size and spec`s.

DO NOT use the 821 servos in a 50 sized heli. Spektrum has published a guide with this information and they themselves do not recomment that servo be used on a 50 sized nitro heli. If I find the article i'll post it here (again).
