Default D6XI problems

I switched my CP Pro over to the DX6I radio and had problems flying it. It wasn't feeling right and was occasionally having rudder issues. The rudder on occasion during flight was become erratic and spin on me. I ended up doing a hard landing because of it. I switched back to the stock remote and seems fine. I haven't taken it out for real flying, just hovering last night. Hopefully I can find out if it is the heli or the radio. I checked all my settings and can't find anything obvious that would cause it.

let's got through the obvious as that is what we all overlook in these situations!

did you set up a new model for the CP Pro on the DX6i?

did you check the rate settings? you may have to set the tail up again even though you didn't alter anything on the heli (i presume you didn't as it should have been just a case of binding the DX6i to the AR6100 Rx!)

is everything plugged in, i.e. the leads for teh gyro and the tail motor?

just a couple of things to consider, if still no joy give us a shout again!

I checked everything and it flies fine initially. I rebinded it to the old radio and does fine. When I checked the controls and hovered it with the DX6I, it seemed fine.
