i bought my first helicopter today a raptor 30 V.2 i also bought a 6 channel futaba computer radio but heres where i think i goofed i got a JR PIEZO G460T GYRO the guy at the hobby shop said it would be alright to use but when i was reading through the instructions for the gyro it says its made to work perfectly with JR radios and might not work correctly with other radios is this true do i need to take this gyro back and get another or will this one be alright any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I don't know about the hobby shop, but you mite find someone here that lives close to you that will give you a hand.

Not sure about the g460 but I have used a futaba 502 gyro
with a JR 652 radio and it worked fine.
But if you where to take the g460 back I would say go for the
Futaba 401 Its a good gyro and you will find a lot of help here
on how to set it up

I Read the manual on your G460 and YES it will work with your
Radio.
I think it says it mite not work with some radios is because you
need a free channel to use for the gain settings wich is usually
done on channel six.
I didn,t see any way to set the gain on the gyro itself and you need to be able to set the gain in normal and hh mode.
