Default Beginner flying drills

Hi,

I recently got a Blade mCX2 coaxial heli. I can tail-in hover okay but I was wondering if anyone can suggest some flying drills to increase my skills.

Thank in advance

I'm definitely looking at a fixed pitch and have narrowed it down to the CB180D or HBFP V2. The mCX2 is fun but I want a little more. Do you have the tail motor mod I've seen discussed or stock?

I have the falcon V1 which is the same as the honeybee - only difference is mine is 72 mhz and the V2 is 2.4 ghz. It's a great little trainer and I'm really enjoying it. My brother has the cb100 - the small indoor version of the 180 - uses the same technology. If I was going to buy a first heli I'd probably get the 180. There is nothing at all wrong with the honeybee, but the cb100 is much more stable than the falcon/honeybee/walkera4 and I'm sure the 180 is the same.

Do you think the tail motor mod for the 180D is necessary for a newbie?

Not at all buddy..you dont need all that stuff...just focus on simple. Check out my page, youtube. you can see my 180D an what a BEATING it takes lol. I call it my "simulator" cause i need to learn by hands on an not a computer screen flying a heli. thats what works for me though. So go to youtube, cb180d forward flight an then go to my home page. As far as the tail motor an brushless an stuff like that, get good wit what you have first an then start upgrades. You'll appreciate it more. you will not be dissapointed wit the 180D. keep me posted!!

Yes, just the stock blades, i found someone selling 20 of them on ebay for pretty cheap. So i dont even break them anymore now. The tail struts pop out thats about it.

Cool. I'm going to pull the trigger on a purchase this week.
