I have a throttle curve "EP0-0, EP1-25, EP2-50, EP3-75, EP4-100" in "NOR" mode on my Copterx CT6B Tx. My ESC is the one that comes in the Copterx 500 Value Electronic Parts Package. When I connect my ESC to the battery, throttle stick at EP0 position which supposed to be 0% throttle, throttle trim tab at its lowest position but the motor spins. I nearly got chopped by the blades. I immediately turned on the Throttle Cut switch to cut the throttle in order to stop the motor from spinning, but when I turned off the switch the motor spins again. Is this a malfunction of the ESC? I haven't done any programming to the ESC yet, the ESC runs on its default setting. Please tell me what to do, thanks.

Is the throttle channl reversed? Is the motor wires reversed. Which way does it spin up? If clock wise then the motor is fine. Also make sure your idle up switch has not been flipped to 3D by mistake. Good luck.

It sounds like the most likely cause is that your switch is in 3d mode. Always check your switches prior to plugging your battery in. I also flip the throttle hold on prior so if I bump the throttle, it doesn't spin up.
