There are some friends asking about how to adjust helis,so we made this basic instructions, hope could do some help:
First Step: Electronic Equipments
Take the Walkera HM36# as example, we need to transfer all the switchs on the back of the transmitter to the left, the top two on the front panel to upper, the two knobs to the middle.
For other transmitters, you will need to set it according to the manual.
Second step: To eliminate double blades

Hold the aircraft (keep it far enough from yourself), push the throttle to see if there is double blades. Double blades means the two blades are not on the same level when running, which may won't cause a crash, but very difficult to fly!
If you have double blades, you need to adjust the length of linkage set on one side to elimilate it. Say to take the linkage off as indicated in the following picture, to get it fastener or looser, then check again till it disappear(please refer to the picture bellow).

Third Step, General settings about the Pitch:
To make things easider, you can take it that pitch is the angle between blades and Helicopter frame. And it's not difficult to understand that, with the same motor torque power, the bigger the angle is, the greater resistance will be. That's why we need to adjust the pitch.
You can simply set the pitch with a pitch gauge:
First of all, set the pitch gauge onto one of the blades, about 1/3 of the blade in length. Make the gauge in parallel with the shaft, adjust the gauge slowly, to check if the top of the gauge is in parallel with the flybar body. Get the screw on the gauge fixed, loose the pitch holder, then you can read the pitch on the gauge and to test the other blade.

Hope this could help a bit,
and here you can find the pitch gauge on sale, only $1.88 :
