Default FM Radios



Will I get alot of interference with it? I know it's all about the 2.4 Radio's I have afew. When I crash this Heli I want it to be operator errornot this cheap radio.</p>

A properly installed radio will work fine. I mean, we've been flying helicopters a lot longer than 2.4 radios have been around (well a few of us old geisers have anyways)

I agree with BarracudaHockey, a properly set-up heli will have no problems with FM.

Now if you ever notice any problems with the radio land inmediately. Metal-to-metal contact can have an effect on the FM radio link and show up as a glitch. You will pull your hair out looking for a problem on the radio, when the problem could be a worn bearing, a loose linkage or any loose metal fastener. Just keep that in the back of your head.

Thank You. I've got alittle more peace-of-mind. I will changeout that reciever ASAP don't need any extra glitches I have plenty all on my own.
