Hi,
I've ordered a CopterX 250and the "Professional Electronic Parts Package"of matching electronics from eHirobo.
It comes with the 9g cyclic servos, 5g tail servo, Gyro and ESC + motor.
I know these are budget items; that was my goal, to build a low-cost 250 for flying around the house.
My question centers on the gyro predominantly; anyone have 1st hand experience with the GY750 Head Lock 3D Gyro that is included?
Does it work decently for hovering practice and mild maneuvers, or should I buy a known good performing futaba 401 clone?
I'd prefer to build it with a problem-free gyro rather than deal with dialing in a poor performer.
But, don't want to throw money away either.
TIA for any insight.

To be hornest I think the copterX gy750 works quite well. Just remember unlike normal gyro mount flat on the gyro mount. This one need to be mounted "standing up". I just tape it on side of the main frame.

Allright, thanks for that.
I was actually wondering why it was mounted there while looking at the pictures of the CX250 RTF.
I'll make sure to mount mine the same way...
