Default GY401 problem

I am having problems with the GY401. I know this is one of the easiest gyros to setup on the planet but for some add reason this one does not want to perform. Before I send it out perhaps someone could give me the answer. I am using two other 401 on my other ships and both are working correctly.

Symptoms: Everything mechanically is setup correctly without any bindings. Turn the radio in the normal mode and adjust the tail drift, land and memorize the heading. Start in AVCS and adjust the gain. Settings are 80% on normal 74% idelup1 and 70%on idelup2.

When set on normal, the gyro show in AVCS mode. When in idelup1 or 2, I have a double flashing light and the tail does not hold well. The manual says that the signal from the transmitter is different then the neutral signal of the AVCS memorized.

Switch 5 is working as well and puts me in the none heading hold mode.

How do I fix this? I’ve tried to re-memorize the gyro neutral.

Thanks for help.

Found the problem.

The memory trim and the actual trim were no set equal.
I guess it pays to know your radio. Everything works great.

Thanks
