Default Main Gearing question.....

Hi guys

Me and my dad want to get a new heli, we have a new O.S. 70 engine that´s been sitting there for a few months now, but theres is a small problem, I can´t find a 60 sized kit, I was looking to get the Raptor 60 but it looks like it's been discontinued, so I was thinking at getting a Trex 700 but I don´t know if the gearing for the main rotorhead is going to work for this engine and 690mm blades (I already have those blades) so what do you thing, is it going to work with stock gears or do I have to get diferent gears for the Trex 700?

Thanks for any info
Sergio

Default RE: Main Gearing question.....

Personally, I would just get a 90 size engine. As you saw, nobody that I can think of makes 60 size kits any more.
