7th channel question.
Iknow Icant afford one yet, but i'm checking out the trex 550 and in the specs it says 7 channelTx/Rx is required.
I only own a DX6i, I know im on a budget.
What is the seventh channel for? Is it really needed?

RE: 7th channel question.
Electric collective pitch helis only need 6 channels (5 really but almost all gyros these days use remote gain so that makes 6) nitros use the 7th for a govenror.
Only other case I could think of is a FBL unit that needs a remote gain for the head as well as one for the tail.
