Frsky radios??
#5
I have been using FrSky Taranis for several months now and find it superlative to any radio I've used before - and to any radio I've seen at the field.
If you're interested in seeing the operations of the radio check our youtube videos @ https://www.youtube.com/user/PagesFlyingCircus/videos
You can also download the companion software for free and try the transmitter simulator. https://code.google.com/p/companion9x/downloads/list
The only drawback to the radio right now is that it's so hard to obtain because it's wildly popular. One must get on a waiting list and learn patience.

I am using the Frsky Taranis in my Raptor 30. No major issues to date except for the fact there isn't an S.Port Temp sensor to put on the head but there is an adapter coming out soon that will let us plug the old temp loop into the S.Port bus.
Combined with OpenTx and it's power, can't go wrong. Rx can also handle high voltage up to 10v (speaking servo lingo here).
The only thing that drives me nuts is the spacing between the SH switch location (Throttle hold) and the switch in front of it. Same issue as most Futaba radios, too damn close together. But I am getting used to it now.
Cheers
