Default tooth missing on belt

Hi guys,
I had a tail boom strike yesterday , and just took the tail boom off. There is a tooth missing ,just a single tooth. the teeth on either side of the one that is missing are solid. Am I ok to go ahead and use this belt?
by the way it is off a raptor 30.

It will probably still work, but i don't think i would risk it. Belts are not very expensive.

If you loose tail control it will cost more than just a belt..

Yes it will work fine, but will you really risk your heli over a 7 dollar belt.

Am I the only one who finds the humor in the first post? A fella from West Virginia wants to run his heli with "a tooth" missing, "heck it dont bother the wife, kids, or dogs, they all have a few missin" an git by jus fine".
:^0

Just joking Rick, hope you take it that way <g>

first off a raptor belt aint no 7 dollars for the stock replacement belt...its around 30 dollars at most hobby shops but im sure the gray market has them cheaper...

second, if its one tooth only you will be fine on a raptor... if it were several in a row or another tooth missing a few teeth away from the already missing one then i'd say dont use it but i have flown some other guys raptors and 3d'd the crap out of them for em and it held fine as long as the belt tension was PROPERLY set... that being said make your own decision... spend 30 bucks for piece of mind but im sure someone would still buy your old belt with just one tooth missing and use it without even hesitating...

the belts no good and for that matter the the blades are no good too, one hit throw them out its not worth the risk.
