Default Attempted to fly the Raptor for the first time this weekend...

Went to go fly it this weekend..

Went to the field, some veterans helped me out. There were a few things that needed to be adjusted, so we did that.. Ended up snapping a link attached to the swashplate that controls the elevator..

Not a big deal, it just sucked that I couldn't fly it.

Oh well, got all the bugs worked out so far with all the linkages and servo throws. Gotta fix that and it will fly this weekend./

Stay tuned for some action shots..

And the new paintjob... I don't think I'll have visability problems with this!

Yeah .. He's a nice guy. Good luck on the next trip out. Let us see that Rappy in the air.

I got the parts I need on order, with 2 day shipping! Can't wait longer than that.

Action shots this weekend, I promise. Wether it be hovering, or a blaze of glory...

Lets hope for the former.

y0, yeah, that's the Raptor 30. The assembly was pretty good, tricky at some times because the manual lacked a lot of words.. But in all, not bad. Learned a lot of things putting it together. I got the OS32 in it. I've broken it in on a bench with a prop, and it runs really well. Broke it in in like a tank & a half. It;s very responsive to throttle control.

I should fly it the first time this weekend, I'll post back how I do.
