Local heli hobby stores in Montreal
I've spent a good part of my day searching for local hobby shops that sell helis and spare parts in Montreal on the internet without success. I need to find a shop so that I can decide which heli kit to buy, so that when I need a spare part I know I can get it locally. Worst case scenario i'll have to order it from another province in Canada.
Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Local heli hobby stores in Montreal
I live in the Big city of Chicago. You would think that Hobby Shops would sell helis here but they don't. I have to drive way out into the suburbs for a Hobby Shop that sells heli's & parts, and they mostly sell Raptors. So I do most of my shopping on line.

Both have great service & fast delivery. There are many more on line stores, so maybe some others will post their favorites
Hope this helps,
Joe

Hey Cizzi
If you are a member of MAAC & you should be----the bi-monthly magazine has loads of adds for eastern Canada with shops selling just about any heli you can imagine.
Check out [link]http://www.maac.ca[/link] for the insurance you will need. As well they have many links there.

I have done business with all these shops & their service has been good.

Is it worth paying for my MAAC membership for the rest of 2003? Or am I better off to get one for 2004?

After Sept it is 1/2 price for the remainder of the year if you purchase the coming year as well. I buy the 3 yr. rate. Saves a few $$$.
If you are going to fly this year you should have it .
