A friend of my at the field had his .30 size heli out there. I had flown them in realflight a few times and he asked me if I wanted to try. I was pretty nervous but I did take off, hover briefly, and fly the pattern a couple times before performing a fairly stable landing!!! WOOHOO! I'm getting a helicopter!

Thanks guys, you're not kidding about the addiction. I am probably picking up this helicopter from my buddy and I'm already looking at that Bell 222 that was reviewed in RCU. Look out!

Got one of the skids stuck in the mud on landing and when I tried to takeoff it tipped and exploded when the blades hit! It looked really bad, but after taking her apart, it ended up only being about $50 in parts to get here flying again.
