LOL, great laugh!
Quote gquiring -"from Nothing is wrong with the flyer or me being considered an expert. I can fly a heli more than well enough to lift it off the ground Paul. Since we know who you are now, it's pretty pitiful that you hide behind some new name. Your cover is blown."

I'm laughing out loud too.... :stupid: Do you know how many Paul G's there is in the world??????? How is my cover blown ????? What's my real last name do you know??????? I could be Paul Gentry , Paul Goolio , Paul Genovera etc etc etc how does any this prove who I am ????????

Give me a break, once again- flmgrip- is 100% RIGHT "gquiring flies helis for years and years and still doesn't know what servos to use... "

Thanks flmgrip for getting to the real issue.

This is sad..........

Sorry gary for all the people who just cant resist the urge to post in such a negative manner.

That said, I equiped my first helicopter (Ergo30) with the 3001 servos, and used them for about the first year. They did develope some slop, but performed well enough. I then switched to the 9202. While not the fastest/Strongest servo on the block, they do well for the way I fly. I have them on my Z230(12lbs!) as well, and they seem to be handling it ok. I do, however use the servo output arm supports from JR. When used on a Futaba servo you have to carefully re-drill the output arm hole for the JR ball, but they have worked great. You can see them on my web site, under Helicopter Misc stuff. They cost about 12.00 each depending where you get them from. The Sport 60 I have, ahas been using the same servos for several years now with no signs of wear.

I hope this helps.....

Oh yeah. Lets ALL remember that the only STUPID question is the one NOT asked....

Guys,

Keep it on track. Enough guessing games about who is who. Gary wants some servo recommendations so let's keep them coming.

I like to use JR 8101 servos on the cyclics. I have 9202s on my gasser and they are a lot of servo for the money. I wouldn't think you need more than either one of these.

Hi Ron,

Problem was resolved on Sunday! I got my new servos (JR8231's) and the ship flies rock solid with them. Below is a video of the first flight after the servo swapout:
