Hello to all.
Is the Raptor 50V2 muffler different from the raptor 30V2? Are ther any differences in performance?
Also Should I buy it with OS 50 or with Thunder tiger 50?
For gyro I will use the Futaba GY501 AVCS, but can I use standart S3003 servos for pitch, elevator, ailerons and engine?
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks:
Daniel Maia

The larger .50 size engine of the Raptor 50 needs a larger volume muffler than 30V2 muffler.
The 30V2 muffler has 35 mm between the mounting bolts and will not fit on a .50 size engine that has 37 mm between the bolts.
You could use the S3003 servo to start with, but you should "really" use ballbearing servos on a heli.
The bushings of the S3003 will wear out very fast.
The S3004 is better and the S9202 is one of the best servos for Helis.

I wouldn't use the 3003 type servos. Not only because they don't have bearings, but they might fail. I would get something with a little more torque as well. I wouldn't even use the 3003 on the throttle, but thats just me.
I would suggest jr 811's. They have the torque and are digital. they just might be a little expensive.
The tt50 seems pretty good to me so far, but I only have 3/4 a gallon through it and can't give you a good opinion. Both the os and the tt probably would be good. I got the tt 50 because it was cheaper, used less fuel and seemed like it ran out of the box. Too many people with the os 50 are doing carb mods or getting the 60b carb. I also heard it sucks up more fuel, but produces more power.
