Hi all
I have been looking at buying the Vigor CS or the fury Extreme with the YS 80. I have seen a lot of good post here about both machines, good and bad. I think I have read about more problems with the Vigor, flybars breaking, having to grind the head in a couple of places to get full travel maybe more but I did not come accross them. Fury extreme some assembly problems 1 I think, but mostly good post about the extreme. Does anyone know if JR is addressing any of the problems with the Vigor and are they going to do anything about these things? I agree for the price of the Vigor we should not have to fix these problems ourselves. I asked a guy that has experence with both machines he said the Vigor is a little more precise and the fury is a great 3D machine.
Sorry the post is a little long.
Thanks
Fred

From: Green Valley, IL,
I have been flying my CS for over a year without any flybar problems. I have not ground on the head either. I did replace the flybar after the first 10 gallons when pilots started reporting possible problems as a precaution. Still flies like new.

The Futura SE is $650.00 from Rick's...they have no flybar, T/R shaft, T/R gear, or clutch probs...they ARE old school mechanicial mixing (non ACCPM) but will do everything a Fury or Vigor will do and parts prices are the same or less! If you run a YS 80 you WILL need a 24 tooth bell to change the gear ratio ($84.00)...sorry. Just another good option. Chris
