Gain adjustment from JR & Airtronics Transmitters?
I recently found out about Futaba Gyros/Transmitters being able to adjust the Gyro Gain from the Transmitter.. I think that would be a HUGE help being able to adjust it wile in flight without landing/spinning down main Rotor and then adjusting.. Does anyone know if the JR PCM9X/G500T or Airtronics RD8000/SGL-01 will do this also? LMK! -Thanks!

I use a Jr 9x and 550T and switch both gain and taillock from the transmitter. Its very easy and the menu function you use is called gyro gain. Doesn't get much simpler.

RE: Gain adjustment from JR & Airtronics Transmitters?
The new Airtronics SGL is not adjustable from the transmitter. However, you can use the Futaba or JR gyros with the RD8000 to get get an adjustable gain from the transmitter.
I wouldn't recommend adjusting them in flight though. On most transmitters, the buttons are pretty small and getting to them without taking your eyes off the heli might be hard to do. I've tried it and its not worth the hassle.
Now that I fly the Airtronics Stylus, in flight adjustability is possible. The Stylus allows you to assign the two way spring switch to increase or decrease the value. This way you can put your finger on a switch without taking your eyes off the heli.
