To switch or not to switch????
Are receiver switch failures very common in RC Heli's? Is it best to run without one and plug the battery directly into the receiver before each flight ? Who makes the best switch?

if you are afraid of a switch failure then you shouldn't fly at all... there is plenty of other pieces and parts which are much more likely to break... and then there are your thumbs... (or fingers)

The switch is the most important over looked part on any R/C model. When it doubt replace it. I have looked high and low and the best switch IMO is here

Heavy Duty Switch Harness with Powerline Wire
Part Number: 210HFJ this is a 4 pole switch most switches are only 2 pole plus the wire it uses can handle 20 amps. The switch is the weakest link to the on board flight system.
