Well guys let me tell you why!
I am new to this hobby and was soo excited to get my heli.. I put it together and spent hours researching how to set it up. When i finally thought i had set it up properly i took it to the field to show it to an experienced flyer, but since no one was there i decided to fire it up to ensure that things were in order! you know i had gone to the field all excited i just couldn't get my self to turn back!! Ahh how i wish i did though!!! I had the pitch servo in reverse and the heli just shot up into the air
Well lucky for me i had my training gear strapped on which dampened the blow, but i lost the blades, training gear and a couple of other minor things!
I repaired it and took it to the shop to get some one experienced to set it up for me!!! sounds good huh? Well as i was carrying the Heli my girl friend carried the radio and as she walked through the door she hit the radio on the door frame and broke one of my toggle switches (refer to the pic to see which one)!!! I was about to die when i turned around and saw what had happened! My local RC store dosn't carry them in stock and i am now in the process of trying to find an e-store which does with no luck however... Help in my search would really be welcomed!!!

Ouch!
Sorry to hear about your problems.
What is this switch labeled? Is this your flight mode switch? If yes, does it still function? Can you manage to set it to ilde 0 (NRML) if not already set? You won't be needing to move this switch this until after you've mastered hovering, in fact, you shoudn't need to operate any functions requiring switches until after you've mastered hovering so just find an instructor and get on with burning fuel.
Are you handy with things electronic? Locally, we have a store 'Active Surplus' that has been a great source of replacement electronic parts for me in the past. Take the switch to your local equivalent. If you're not so handy, find someone who is (that you can trust). If you're not handy or don't know someone who is, send it in for repair (especially if it's still under warranty).

I tried for months to get the short 3 position switch from Horizon, it was always out of stock. Radio South can fix it fast or send you a switch. www.radiosouthrc.com

Send it in to Horizon. It will usually only take a couple of weeks. Last time we sent a radio in for this SPTT switch they only charged $40 and got it back to us in a week. They also tuned the module and receiver by hand, increasing range.
