Default uk heli fly in ?????

well i am glad to confirm that on SUNDAY 18th APRIL Skelmersdale M.A.C will be holding a heli fly-in that is open to all pilots .

there will be an excellent transmitter control which will start at 10 am
to fly we need proof of BMFA insurance.
there will be a BBQ , toilets and a great flying site.
there will be a flying fee of just £2.50 to go to club funds.
there will be three flight lines

Directions

take the M6 to Junction 26

join the M58 for 4 miles and turn off at junction 4

at the exit of the motorway turn first left and then right almost immediately after

you are then on white moss lane , follow this road until on your left there will be a gate and this is the entrance our field.

please reply with your thoughts.

The skem site is very very open, a superb site to hold a heli fly in. Already skem holds many Scale comps and fly-ins, and hopefully the heli one will have similar success!

You should be a member of the BMFA/or others for insurance, i would contact your club straight away and find out who they get their insurance from. If its not the BMFA then ask your club to supply you with a documentation to prove you have insurance, then take this to the fly in. If your insured through the BMFA and you dont have any documents from the BMFA then contact them and they will send you the documents to you.

All the best

Nice map Andy but im not sure that is what John D has in mind. Area 1 and 3 look to be correct but area 2 isnt quite correct.
Both john and myself have "walked" the 3 flying areas today at the field and as far as im aware area 2 will be from the top left hand corner of the field and outwards towards the pylons.

Any questions ask the organiser John D
