does anyone use a recoil starter on their heli ? what is better ?

Recoil starters aren't really used anymore except on gassers. I think they (OS and others) still make recoil start heli engines but they'll only fit in certain heli's. Some heli kits were made with an integral reciol starter, built into the clutch itself, which meant you just bought a regular heli engine.

A recoil starter I guess could be nice in that you'd eliminate the need for an electric starter and start shaft but I think you'll have a hard time finding one or a heli it will fit.
