Default Piccolo Touble / Need Help Plz!!

I recently assembled a Piccolo Fun w/a Piccoboard Plus and a GWT-4a transmitter. I think I have everything hooked up correctly but the piccoboard will not calibrate. Actually it has calibrated once or twice but both times i have had no control of anything. It's just does it's own thing. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong??? Thanks for all your help.

Hey i can tell you right now you most likely have the wrong crystal. You need a Berg single conversion crystal for the picco board plus's reciever. I had the same problem and it has to match the channel your transmitter crystal is on. PM me if you need anythign. I been through it all with the piccolos. Actually quite entetaining to fly around your house while your sitting on the couch. Build one of these to tune in your tail mixer and gyro on the picco board. It allows your heli to spin freely so you can see what adjustments need to be made to your mixers. Mine is dead on . With the heading hold module and my mixers tuned properly my tail does not budge from where i put it.

LOL, no i dont land on the cd. With my full size dure i could land it on a (huge cd) LOL but that fP piccolo is junk. Switched it to CP and now i can land on the cd. But really you zip tie the heli to the cd. Then it will spin freely on its axis so you can tune in your tail mixer and Gyro

Hi Nuch,

Been there done that!

Its a crystal thing ... Piccoboard Futaba versus the rest[:'(] After three weeks of going nuts I got help from an RC shop and wound up returning my JR Tx and buying a Futaba Tx to match the Piccolo Futaba Piccoboard.

Get help from a shop, take the whole kit over to them at an off-peak business time so they can spend some undistracted time with you. you'll be up and flying in no time.

Good luck, Merlin
