Ok I'm farily new to the Heli world and I was wondering if ya'll could tell me the difference between the Futaba 7cap and the Futaba 7chp. I've read everything on it on the tower hobbies site but I still don't know what the difference is besides the price tag. Could ya'll tell me what i'm missing??? Thanks, and here is the link for them

I have a 9CAF. which should be the same situation with the 7C. The heli version of these radios (the middle letter) means that certain switches on the TX are in different places. That's it. The systems, when sold as a heli version or airplane version, have different servos (type and number) and a bigger rx battery for the heli version. The tx programming is the same no matter which version you buy. They both have both heli and airplane functions. The last letter is whether it comes with a PCM or FM rx, the tx is capable of both modulation types.
Hope this helps,
Mike

more difs;
when a model is reset on ca version it reverts to an airplane instead of the heli on the heli version. and, the throttle stick has a ratchet on airplane version, but this is very easy to fix with a peace of fuel tubing on the little peace of metal that causes the ratchet.
