I have dusted off the ole ergo and found she needs a flybar. I just happen to have two, one stock(710mm in package) and one unlabeled, perhaps from old xcell(480mm) or something. How short a flybar is too short for the ergo .60? Last time I flew her, I was getting into 3D, so would like to use the shorter flybar if the length sounds reasonable. But,come to think of it, I never did try any yogurts with the stock flybar(710mm). The stock flybar just looks ....really......stable.

The shorter flybar would be used for the KSJ style paddles. the stock Ergo paddles thread all the way through to the other side and then jam nutted in place, thats why it is longer. the KSJ style paddles are glued on at the end, and do not go all the way through, that is why you use a shorter flybar for them. It(the shorter bar) will make the cyclic more responsive.
