Simple question?

What radio mode (throttle or pitch on left or right) does curtiss youngblood use?

Neither.

He modified a two-stick radio to a single stick. I imagine this radio started out as Mode2 (throttle/pitch on left)

I watched a video where he was flying using a mode II radio. This was where he was "ghost flying" for the so called "Drunken Master".
