The 750 mAh battery pack indicates that this heli is about the same power and size as most other electric minis like my Aerohawk. I guess 2 onces would be a very heavy payload. 9 ounces, no way!

There are 30-size electrics. They could probably carry that weight. They are of course more expensive. Also the safety issues about bigger helis should be taken more seriously. A mini electric might cut you and beat you up but probably not kill you. A bigger heli might very well cause fatal accidents.
If you are a beginner I M H O it might be a good idea to learn flying on a mini before you go to something bigger. If you can master a mini you will save yourself a lot of crashes and problems when you start carrying expensive cameras or other stuff on a big machine.

If you are a begginner then an electric will turn you off from the hobby. They don't have much power unless you get a very expensive setup.

They're right you know.
If you want a nice one that can carry the weight you want, than go with the LMH Corona Model 120.
It costs a little extra, but it is much better than a mini heli. You'll get good stuff worth your money. (about 800 $)

Master, It sounds like you have something in mind to carry with the heli. If you've never flown one, you need to put some thought into just how complex this hobby can be. Plan to spend quite a bit of time practicing before you bother strapping the payload on.

Is the 9 ounce object a camera???

I've been flying for 1 year. all my electrics crashed ruined furniture scared my kids scared me and I dealt with a dealer in fla. that miked me. Thank someone for nitro gas etc. because as a beginner those can be flown electrics I think needs a very experienced pilot. I have about $4000 worth of electric heli's and parts in my basement. good lucj
