I get on the average of about 14 mins with 8.18 gear ratio and 18 ozs of fuel. I am using low viscosity oil fuel at 14% content so I have the needles only open about 1 1/4 on the hover needle and 1/2 on the high needle.

For practicing and everyday flying I am using 20% nitro 14% LV oil. For contests I an using 30% nitro 14% LV oil. The less oil and the low viscosity allows the motor to run better. RC car racers have known this for years, that is why they only use fuel that has 8 to 10% oil on the average. Those engines are turning in the 30K rpm range and it a lot worse environment than a heli.
