Anyone out there used the Simblaster USB interface with the freeware beta sim from http://alphaomega.software.free.fr/?
Using the keyboard is a waste of time. uisng a cheap 2-joystick gamepad is well, a waste of time.
The folks at Simblaster say no issue using the USB interface with an OSX machine - but software is only for PC. The freeware allows for some simple calibration of either a gamepad or transmitter, so I'm assuming that the software will just treat the JR XP8103 I'm using as a two-stick analog joystick, but assumptions can be dangerous.
The freeware sim isn't RF G2 but for a Mac-devotee newbie it's better than nothing....
REALLY gets my goat - sold an old Thinkpad 6 months ago because was paperweight.
Thanks.
